About the Author 

Dr. Kristina Culpepper, LMSW, is an advocate for survivors of suicide loss. She earned her doctor of social work degree from Walden University, specializing in research of those bereaved by suicide. Kristina serves on the board for the North Texas chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and is a survivor-clinician facilitator for Healing After Suicide. In her free time she enjoys being outside with her husband and three dogs around Fort Worth.
